The Consumer

Hello Again, This is an introduction to the productions I enjoy. Yes, all articles will be written this poorly which is something to look forward too I think.

I have to start with the one product that really got me interested in all this and that is Surge. I was a really big fan of the Fully Loaded Citrus Soda with Carbos, but in 2002 I could see the writing on the wall. I knew the product wouldn't be around forever mainly because SaveSurge.org started. So every bit of Surge I could enjoy was enjoyed. In St. Louis it stuck around for awhile, but maybe because I was the only buying it. One thing I find incredibly bizarre is most people you talk to about Surge really loved it. I blame worrisome Moms and Mountain Dew. Side Note: I think regular Mountain Dew tastes like pickle juice, but I do enjoy most of the line extensions, especially the newly re-released Pitch Black. Back to Surge, I was very active in the SaveSurge community and ended up becoming a "Hall of Famer". After Surge was gone I began becoming interested in other sodas and this just continued onto other products as well.

My favorite currently available sodas are: Vault, Mello Yello, Cherry RC Cola, Mountain Dew Pitch Black

Items I enjoy picking up at the gas station: Jack Links Sweet & Hot Beef Jerky, Slim Jims, and Hostess Cupcakes

I love cereal my favorites include: Honey Graham Oh's, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Total

I will also eat most any Stouffer's frozen product as well.

Why Hello There.

Hello Internet! My name is Chad, and I enjoy consuming things. As a matter of fact I have had friends suggest my nickname be "The Consumer", and that is what has inspired this blog. Well that and my love for other review sites such as The Impulsive Buy, GrubGrade, BevReview, among others. I want to make the experience of coming here a little bit different, so the reviews themselves will be written by one contributor, the overall ratings will be a mix of multiple contributors. I want to do this because different people are going to have different opinions about things obviously and this will bring, hopefully, a more accurate representation to the products.

As well as doing food reviews we are also going to mix in monthly music and smartphone app reviews. I would do these weekly, but I think it can be a little overwhelming have to cram new music down, and digest it in that moment. Some albums and songs just become more amazing over time.

Each contributor is also going to write a little about themselves some of there favorite foods, music, and apps from the beginning, to give you a base of what we enjoy as well.
